Day 1: Welcome to Baghdad

Upon arrival in Baghdad today you will be met at the airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel for some rest. If you arrive early you can visit some of the city. 

Day 2: Explore Baghdad + Ctesiphon/ Taq Kasra

Today is all about Baghdad. While there are many places of interests to visit in this historical city, over 8 hours today you will have a chance to visit particular locations and in some cases simply view as you drive by. 

Today will include seeing Victory Arch, Babylon Hotel, Iraq National Museum (25 000 IQD entrance fee), Save the Iraqi Culture Monument, Al Rasheed Street, Al-Mustansiriya School, Martyrs Monument or Al-Shaheed Monument, and more. Note that if there are particular locations you are most keen on the tour can be adjusted to ensure your top locations are seen in Baghdad today, including a visit to see Taq Kasra. Overnight in Baghdad.

Day 3: Baghdad to Babylon

Depart Baghdad early this morning for Babylon. Upon arrival, visit the Babylon ruins and enjoy a traditional Iraqi dinner this evening. Overnight in Babylon. 

Day 4: Babylon to Nasiriyah

This morning depart right from your hotel in Babylon to Nasiriyah, upon arrival you can check into your accommodation and depart for Ur to visit Ziggurat of Ur. Overnight in Nasiriyah.

Day 5: Nasiriyah to Basrah

Depart for Basrah today for Nasiriyah enjoying the Iraqi landscape on the way. Upon arrival visit great places in this important economic hub of Iraq. Explore the sights and sounds and of course many locals of Basrah today including, the Old City of Basrah, The Old Mosque of Basrah,  and the Museum of Basrah. Overnight in Basrah.

Day 4: Mesopotamian Marshes Overnight

An early morning this morning departing from your hotel in Basrah for the Mesopotamian Marshes. Meet your boat driver gather your meals for the day and depart for the marshes. Overnight in a traditional reed house.

Day 5: Depart

This morning enjoy a traditional breakfast with the local family you have stayed the night with on the marshes. From here transfer to the airport in Basrah for your flight out.
